Rules regarding promotion and display

According to the law, specialty vape shops that have registered can display and advertise vapor products, but only inside the retail space. Promotions and displays are not allowed in front of the retail establishment. A specialty Vape Shop in Boca Del Mar must make sure that no indoor advertisements or displays of vapor items are ever visible from the outside of the establishment as of July 1, 2020.

Rules for testing and sampling done in-store

If the following requirements are satisfied, activating (or turning 'on') an electronic cigarette is allowed at a registered specialty vape shop.

The aim of activation is to evaluate the electronic cigarette or to show clients how to use the gadget.

An electronic cigarette that has been activated does not emit any vapor.

There is no tobacco in the electric cigarette.

The following requirements must be satisfied to use an electronic cigarette (including breathing and inhaling vapor from one) in a licensed Smoke Shop in Boca Del Mar.

Use is intended to enable the sampling of a vapor product.

A vapor product may only be sampled by two people at once.

Unless the electronic cigarette is the owner's own possession, specialty vape shops must offer brand-new, disposable mouthpieces for sampling.

For the purposes of display and promotion regulations, an electronic cigarette or part of an electronic cigarette that is produced or sold for use with tobacco products (such as Heat-Not-Burn devices) but packaged without a tobacco part is regarded as a vapor product rather than a tobacco product accessory.
